Tours

The mini ride is for children aged between 3 and 12 years old, who have never had riding lessons. On this tour, children have the opportunity to ride a horse and are accompanied by a guide who holds the horse and walks alongside it.

Duration 15 min. at 20 min.

Conditions:

• All our activities must be pre-booked to ensure we have availability;
• All activities are accompanied by a guide and are entitled to insurance and touch (riding helmet);
• We do not recommend children under 3 years old to do this activity;
• We are unable to receive people with special needs (hippotherapy);
• The clothes you must bring must be comfortable, such as elastic jeans, training pants or leggins, as well as closed shoes or sneakers;
• Regarding payment, this is made on the day of the tour and can be done in cash or ATM or MBway;
• Cancellations can be made up to 2 hours before the activity.

Baptism on horseback is an activity intended for all children who want to have closer contact with horses and learn the rules of safety and handling of them, such as learning to brush, harness (saddle and bridle) and perform a tour lasting 15min.

• The clothes you must bring must be comfortable, such as elastic jeans, training pants or leggins, as well as closed shoes or sneakers;
• For this activity the minimum is 2 children;
• Cancellations can be made up to 2 hours before the activity.

Baptism on horseback is an activity intended for all people with or without experience of riding a horse, who want to have a closer contact with horses and learn the rules of safety and handling them, such as learning to brush, groom (saddle and bridle) and take a 1-hour tour. This activity lasts from 1:30h to 2h.

Conditions:

• If you want a private tour, always accompanied by a guide, or at sunset, there is an additional fee of €50;
• All our activities must be booked in advance to ensure we have availability;
• All activities are accompanied by a guide and are entitled to insurance and riding helmet;
• We do not recommend children under 12 years old to do this activity, only the mini ride;
• The maximum weight allowed is 95 kilos;
• We are unable to receive people with special needs (hippotherapy);
• The clothes you must bring must be comfortable, such as elastic jeans, training pants or leggins, as well as closed shoes or sneakers;
• For this activity the minimum is 2 people;
• Cancellations can be made up to 2 hours before the tour;
• Outside the bathing season (from October to June) our tours take place along the beach of Ilha do Pessegueiro and a little along the coast, and parallel to the fishermen's trail of Rota Vicentina.
• During the bathing season (from June to September) our tours will only take place along the coast.
• The departure and arrival point of the tour is Herdade do Pessegueiro.

It is a horse ride intended for all people with or without horseback riding experience.

This tour can be carried out between 1h and 3h, depending on request, with a minimum and recommended duration of 1h, for people who have never ridden. The value of 40€ is per hour.

If people with experience want to ride more hours or days, we suggest watching the Dia na Herdade, Beach Ride, Beach and Cork or the Atlantic Trail programs.
